Swamp Music -- by Lynyrd Skynyrd

I figured out the lyrics and chords very quickly on this. The basics of
the song sound simple and can be played effectively with an acoustic.
The rockin' electric jams are another story however!! Any corrections or
flames email me at [email protected]

Chords: E-A-B7

E
Goin' down to the swamp, goin watch me a hound dog catch a coon.
A E
Well I'm goin down to the swamp, goin to watch a hound dog catch a coon.
B7 A
Ya know the hound dog makin music, on a summer night by the light of the
E
moon.
E
Ohhh, fetch my cane pole mamma, goin catch a bream or maybe two.
A E
Lord, fetch my cane pole mamma, goin catch a bream or maybe two.
B7 E
When the hound dogs start barkin', sound like ol'?? singin' the blues.

chorus:
Swamp, Swamp, Swamp, Swamp music
Swamp, swamp, swamp, swamp music
B7 A E
When the hound dog starts singin', I ain't got them big ol' city blues.

solo

Go ahead pretty mamma, just take that city hike.
Said, go'ahead pretty mamma, just take your city hike.
Well, I'd rather live with the hound dogs for the rest of my natural born
life.

chorus, but add this in the last 2 verses instead:

Well, I'd rather live with the hound dogs, for the rest of my natural born
life.
Well I want to live with the hound dogs, for the rest of my natural born
life.
