C G F
We are friends when you want to be
C G F
Other times we are enemies
C G F C G F
And the weeks that go by when you're not on my mind I feel free

C G F
But I miss the nights we spent in your car
C G F
Outside my house never went too far
C G F C G F
Until someone got mad and we chased him around in the dark

C
I'm not asking for a fight
G
Cause there's nothing to talk about
F
It's been a year since we hashed it out
C G
And nothing changed

C
I'm not saying I'm right
G
I'm just saying it's hard to think about
F
All the times that we laughed aloud
C G
And now we're strange

C G F
And we are friends when you want to be
C G F
Which is not when we disagree
C G F C G F
But I don't know that's the case 'til I hear it around from somebody
Dm G
And they say Julia just settle down
C G F
There's room for the new girl in town
Dm G
But everyone just walks away
C G F Dm G
I'm used to it no need to say goodbye
C
Goodbye

C
I'm not asking for a fight
G
Cause there's nothing to talk about
F
It's been a year since we hashed it out
C G
And nothing changed

C
I'm not saying I'm right
G
I'm just saying it's hard to think about
F
All the times that we laughed aloud
C G
And now we're strange

C G F
Well I can go for a week or two
C G F
Without thinking at all about you
C G F C G F
But the second I do I am lost as the memories pass through

C
I'm not asking for a fight
G
Cause there's nothing to talk about
F
It's been a year since we hashed it out
C G
And nothing changed

C
I'm not saying I'm right
G
I'm just saying it's hard to think about

All the times that we laughed aloud

And now we're strange

And they say Julia just settle down
