Where I Live - Leeroy Stagger
Standard Tuning

On the Em chord he plays on and off with the 2 fret of the D string.

G D Em
There’s a cigarette burning, a boy on stage
G D Em
Screaming about the government, you could see that I was raged
G D Em
There’s an old man in the back, yelling spillin all his beer
G D Em
Bouncers got him by the neck to drag him out of here

G D Em
But the rains falling hard on a town with a womans name
G D Em
Its not better than the others, little nicer just the same
C G
Its where I live, its no big deal
D Em
Think you’re moving fast to find you’re spinning your wheels
C G
Its where I live, seems like a joke
D Em
How she can’t afford lots of pretty folks
C G
Its where I live, Its where I live
C G
Its where I live, Its where I live

Pumpin raw sewage in a deep blue sea
Well it’s out of sight, out of mind, if don’t affect you and me
If this protesters singin down on parliament hill
Words fallin on deaf ears against our free will

But the rains falling hard on a town with a womans name
Its not better than the others, little nicer just the same
Its where I live, its no big deal
Think you’re moving fast to find you’re spinning your wheels
Its where I live, seems like a joke
How she can’t afford lots of pretty folks
Its where I live, Its where I live
Its where I live, Its where I live

The forest from a half lit cigarette
You gotta take what you can, go as far as you can get
There’s an out of work logger starrin down the barrel of the gun
Well the fat cats in the business suits who pay for all their fun

But the rains falling hard on a town with a womans name
Its not better than the others, little nicer just the same
Its where I live, its no big deal
Think you’re moving fast to find you’re spinning your wheels
Its where I live, seems like a joke
How she can’t afford lots of pretty folks
Its where I live, Its where I live
Its where I live, Its where I live
