[Verse]

C
We're up when the rooster crows
Am
Clock in when the whistle blows
F
Eight hours ticking slow
C G C
And then tomorrow we'll do it all over again
C Am
I'm a member of a blue collar crowd
Am F
They can never, no they can't keep us down
F C
If you gotta, gotta label me
G
Label me 'proud'

[Chorus]
C
I belong to the drinking class
Am
Monday to Friday, man, we bust our backs
F
If you're one of us, raise your glass
C
I belong to the drinking class

[Verse]

C
We laugh, we cry, we love
Am
Go hard when the going's tough
F
Push back on push and shove
C G C
Knock us down, we'll get back up again and again
C Am
I'm a member of a good timing crowd
Am F
We get rowdy, we get wild and loud
F C
If you gotta, gotta label me
G
Label me 'proud'

[Chorus]

C
I belong to the drinking class
Am
Monday to Friday, man, we bust our backs
F
If you're one of us, raise your glass
C
I belong to the drinking class

[Bridge]

C
We all know why we're here
Am
A little fun, a little music, a little whiskey, a little beer
F
We're gonna shake off those long week blues
C G C
Ladies, break out your dancing shoes
C Am
It don't matter what night it is, it's Friday
Am F
It's Saturday, it's Sunday
F C
I just wanna hear you say, I just wanna hear you sing it
G
Y'all sing it with me

[Chorus]

C
We belong to the drinking class
Am
Monday to Friday, man, we bust our backs
F
If you're one of us, raise your glass
C
We belong to the drinking class
