I play with a Capo on the third fret -- just to make it easier for me to sing:

G Em G C
Uptown, goin' down, old life-line,

Walkin' down faster, walkin' with the master of time,

My lady woke up, and she broke down,

She got up, she let go,
Dm
Take me, Timer, shake me, Timer,

Timer, let it blow, let it blow,
C F C F
My darlin' friends

G C Em Dm G C
Oh, I belong to Timer, he changed my face,
Am C Em
You're fine, a fine one, Timer,
Dm G C
You got me walkin' through the gates of space,
D Dm Em
I keep remembering in-doors that I used to walk through,
Dm
Baby, I'm not tryin' to talk you down,
Em F D G
But I could walk through them doors onto a pleasure ground,
Am Em Dm G
It was sweet and funny, a pleasure ground,
Am Em F Em
Didn't know about money, didn't know about Timer,
Dm Am Bb
Did not know about Timer.

F Em Dm
Holdin' to my cradle at the start, but now my hand is open,
Em Am F G F G
And now my hand is ready for my heart,
C Am Am G C
So let the wind blow, Timer, let the wind blow, Timer
Am C Em Am Gm
And if the song goes minor, I won't mind.

Gm Dm G
And Timer know the Lady's gonna love again,
Am G
And Timer says the Lady rambles nevermore,
Am G Dm
If you love me, too, and if you love me true,
F Em C Dm G
I'll spend my life with you, you and Timer.

C Em
You're a jigsaw, Timer, you're a
