Biography:
Kix fué creada en 1980 por Brian Forsythe, Ronnie Younkins y Donnie Purnell en el sótano de la casa de Brian. Año y medio después nació Kix como banda después de firmar con Atlantic Records.
A pocas semanas de grabar su album debut Kix, salieron a una extensa gira hasta que llegó la hora de grabar su segundo album Cool Kids en 1983.
La compañía les permitió hacer lo que quisieran para el primer album, no así para Cool Kids, ya que su primer album no tuvo tantas ventas
