G Em x 2

G Em
An oyster was a'travelling
G Em
Along the ocean road;
G Em
He'd been some time preparing,
C B
And now he'd left the fold.

G Em
He was sick of being oysterized,
C B E
And he wanted to explode, to explode

C Eb Bb F
Ooh la, ooh la, ooh la, ooh la,
G
La la la la la la la la - bis

G Em
He saw a pretty flying fish
G Em
And said if I could have one wish
G Em
I'd change into a flying fish,
C B E
And then I would be happy, yes I would

C Eb Bb F
Ooh la, ooh la, ooh la, ooh la,
G
La la la la Ooh la la la - bis

G Em
The flying fish came down to see
G Em
Just who had made this plea;
G Em
And seeing the poor oyster,
C B
She said this cannot be
G Em
An oyster has to stay inside,
C B E
And a flying fish must flee, all the time

C Eb Bb F
Ooh la, ooh la, ooh la, ooh la,
G
Ooh la la Ooh la la Ooh la Ooh la Ooh la la

- bis Ooh la la Ooh la la, fizzles out

G Em
As the oyster turned to go away,
G Em
The flying fish was heard to say,
G Em
"If I could find a place to stay,
C B E
I know I would be happy, yes I would"

C Eb Bb F
Ooh la, ooh la, ooh la, ooh la,
G
Ooh la la la la la la la - quatro

Now its hard to figure their Lala's
Just do as you please, guys!
End on a single, drawn Laaa...
