Drum intro

D
Hurt me once, shame on you
G
Hurt me twice, shame on me
D A7
You tear my world apart each time you leave
D
Once a gain you're at my door
D7 G
I'll take you back, just like before
D
So come on in
A7 D
Shame on me

A
Call me crazy
Call me a fool
D
But I can't stop loving you
G D A
In spite of all your many, many ways
A
It just kills me when you're gone
D
So darlin', welcome home
E A
Even though I know you won't stay

D
Hurt me once, shame on you
G
Hurt me twice, shame on me
D A7
You tear my world apart each time you leave
D
Once a gain you're at my door
D7 G
I'll take you back, just like before
D
So come on in
A7 D
Shame on me

A
You'd think by now I've learned
D
Play with fire, and you get burned
G D A
You say you changed, but I know you never will
A
I should find somebody else
D
I can only blame myself
E A
For not giving my old heart a chance to heal

D
Hurt me once, shame on you
G
Hurt me twice, shame on me
D A7
You tear my world apart each time you leave
D
Once a gain you're at my door
D7 G
I'll take you back, just like before
D
So come on in
A7 D
Shame on me
D
So come on in
A7 D A7 D
Shame on me
