"The Merry Old Land of Oz"

N.C.
There's a garden spot, I'm told, where it's never too hot
N.C.
and it's never too cold;
N.C.
Where you're never too young and you're never too old,
N.C.
Where you're never too thin or tall.
N.C.
And you're never, never, never too, too, too anything at all,Oh!

D A7 D G
You're not too mad and you're not too sane
D G
And you don't compare and you don't complain,
D A7 D
All you do is just sit tight, 'cause it's all so, so, so, so down-right, right.

[Chorus]
D A7 D G
Ha-ha-ha! Ho-ho-ho and a couple of tra-la-las,
D G
That's how we laugh the day away,
D A7 D
In The Merry Old Land Of Oz.

D A7 D G
'Bzz-'bzz-'bzz Chirp, chirp, chirp, and a couple of la-de-das.
D G
That's how the crickets crick all day
D A7 D
In The Merry Old Land Of Oz.

D A7 D G
We get up at twelve and start work at one, Take an hour for lunch and then
D G
at two we're done, Jolly good run
D A7 D
In The Merry Old Land Of Oz.

D A7 D G
Ha-ha-ha! Ho-ho-ho and a couple of tra-la-las,
D G
That's how we laugh the day away,
D A7 D
In The Merry Old Land Of Oz.

D A7 D G
Ha-ha-ha! Ho-ho-ho and a couple of tra-la-las,
D G
That's how we laugh the day away,
