Biography:

Karen Lafferty was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She became one of the pioneers of the Jesus Movement during the '70's after accepting the Lord as her personal Savior at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California. Karen is the author of the song "Seek Ye First" which became a well-known praise and worship song throughout the world. She also started the group named Children of the Day during a missionary trip to Holland in 1973. She is still actively involved in ministry and missions, throughout the world.
