[Intro]
C

[Verse 1]

C Am
A cement building white cinderblocks
F G
and faded red lips the sign read "Cold Spot"
C Am
He worked behind the counter to them he was an old man
F G
When my world was crumbling my grandpa gave me his hand

[Chorus 1]

C
It was crickets, minnows and kerosene
Am
RC, moon pies and a softball team
F
Learned about life Learned about girls
G
Learned about livin' in this cold, cruel world
C
It's where you bought your tag for your white-tailed deer
Am
Where the southern baptist bought the most beer
F
A hole in the wall with holes in the wall
G
From behind this counter you saw it all
F G
At the Cold Spot

[Verse 2]

C Am
It was cool in July, warm in December
F G
If I live a hundred years I'll always remember
C
The song and the hum of that old ceiling fan
Am
And this North Georgia voice saying, "Buddy, you can"
F
Out here I'm just a kid trying to make a name
G
I am who I am because he raised Kane selling

[Chorus 2]

C
Selling crickets, minnows and kerosene
Am
RC, moon pies and a softball team
F
Learned about life Learned about girls
G
Learned about livin' in this cold, cruel world
C
It's where you bought your tag for your white-tailed deer
Am
Where the southern baptist bought the most beer
F
A hole in the wall with holes in the wall
G
From behind this counter you saw it all
F G
At the Cold Spot oh yeah
C
At the Cold Spot

[Outro]
C
It was crickets, minnows and kerosene
Am
RC, moon pies and a softball team
F
Learned about life Learned about girls
G
Learned about livin' in this cold, cruel world
C
It was heaven on earth when my world was hell
Am
And the big stores came and the business failed
F G
But all my memories are alive and well
F G
At the Cold Spot Oh yeah
C Am
At the Cold Spot
F C
Take me back to the Cold Spot
