C C/B
May take a lot of years
Am F
May take a lot of tears
C C/B
May take a life of prayers
Am F
But I want to see you there
C C/B
May take a fight with hell
Am F
But no matter what I can tell you
C F C F C C/B F C
I Oh I oh I I 'm never gonna give up on you
C C/B
I remember when we first were friends
Am F
I'd sit on your steps and cry back then
C C/B
You stood by helpless while my soul burned down
Am F
You had no water but you stuck around
C C/B
You were there when Jesus rescued me
Am F
You were a witness when he set me free and now
C F C F C C/B F C
I oh I oh I I'm never gonna give up on you
G F
I don't know what keeps your heart away
F
But I can tell you this
G F
Untill I die I'm always gonna pray
F
That you will come to be his
C
I'm gonna pray for you
