Four years of hard work!

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

263 Artist   71 Music   136 Tab Tab
NOTE: These are the actual chords that are played. Saying that, the slightly simpler way to play it (and
probably the way Julia plays it) would be: transpose this tab UP by two semitones, and tune your uke DOWN
two semitones to F Bb D G. Then, it's still in key, and a bit easier to play.
Also, there's a video floating around of Julia playing this live, but her uke isn't in standard tuning. To
play like she does in that video (this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjIKiUSu750), you're going to
want to transpose this tab up by two semitones, but tune your uke down ONE semitone, to Gb B Eb Ab. It's up
to you, any of these ways will sound fine, but the key it's played in on the album is as written.
Have fun!

F Bb F
I looked at my keys
Bb Dm C Bb
Thinkin' that these aren't mine
F Bb F
But it's a just a new set
Bb Dm C Bb
I keep on forgetting that time has gone by

F Bb F
Take your watch from my wrist
Bb Dm
Your ring from my finger
C Bb
Your name from my lips

F Bb F
Take me to the West Coast
Bb Dm C Bb
'Cause I need to know if I still exist

F Bb
I'd like to say that I knew
Dm Bb
But I don't think that's true
Dm C
I was blind for you
Bb Bb
Deaf and dumb and black and blue

F Dm Am Bb
Oooh
F Dm Am Bb
Oooh

F Bb F Bb Dm
I remember New York fondly enough
C Bb
If I refuse
F Bb F
To look at myself
Bb Dm C Bb
Pathetic and comfortable in the abuse

F Bb F
Take the wind from my sails
Bb Dm
The beat from my chest
C Bb
The heart from my songs

F Bb F
Take the life from my eyes
F Dm C Bb
I won't realise that something is wrong

F Bb
I'd like to think that he knew
Dm Bb
But he seemed so confused
Dm C
Maybe out of the blue
Bb Bb
But I did what I had to do

F Dm Am Bb
Oooh
F Dm Am Bb
Oooh

F Bb F
I wake up alone
Bb Dm
I wanna get stoned
C Bb
And stare at a screen
F Bb F
But I crawl out of bed
Bb Dm C Bb
Focus on getting myself clean

F Bb F
Take a comb to my hair
Bb Dm
A moment to stare
C Bb
The mirror so strange

F Bb F
Take a shower at least
Bb Dm
Rinse and repeat
C Bb
Like something will change

F
I am afraid
Bb
But what's new?
Dm Bb
There's a lot to undo
Dm C
But I have nothing to lose
Bb Bb
Somehow I will make it through

F Dm Am Bb
Oooh
F Dm Am Bb
Oooh
