Jules Shear Never Again Or Forever by Rick Danko/Jules Shear

G C Cm G G C Cm G G C Cm G G C Cm G D

B7 Em B7 Em
My ranshackled mind searched out old Jerome
C G Am D
I said my house is falling it use to be a home he
B7 Em B7 Em
Said I told you once I'll tell it to you twice
C G
She's got to quit or quench her thirst
Am D
For that poison paradise
G B7 Em
She's got to choose never again or forever
C G B7 Em
She's got to let it break at the ends or say forever
C G
But I feel so dark inside
B7 B7 Am D
That I'm clinging to the smallest light
G C Cm G D
And I can't hang on and I can't hang on
B7 Em
It was harvest at the Hazeltown farm
B7 Em
And in the fields we'd meet meet
C G Am D
I could feel the pods I know the peas inside were sweet
B7 Em B7 Em
But soon I saw her deceptions for the little lies they were
C G Am D
And I was making all my plans depended upon her
G B7 Em
She's got to choose never again or forever
C G B7 Em
She's got to let it break at the ends or say forever
C G
But I feel so dark inside
B7 B7 Am D
That I'm clinging to the smallest light
G C Cm G
And I can't hang on and I can't hang on
F G C Am
I don't know what draws the bee into the flower
F G C Am
But she's the blackest rose
F G C Am
I got a hard time just seeing thru the clouds
D
That hang on her wherever she goes
B7 Em B7 Em
Poison paradise served up with the twist
C G
I held it in a bottle
Am D
It's right there in the ingredents list
B7 Em B7 Em
I can't talk anymore and I can't walk away
C G
I swore my ulitimatum
Am D
And I fear that it's too late
G B7 Em
She's got to choose never again or forever
C G B7 Em
She's got to let it break at the ends or say forever
C G
But I feel so dark inside
B7 B7 Am D
That I'm clinging to the smallest light
G C Cm G D
And I can't hang on and I can't hang on
