Ribbon Bows

by Joshua James
Joshua James

Biography:

Joshua James is an American singer-songwriter currently based out of American Fork, Utah and Lincoln, Nebraska.

On his second album, Build Me This, the follow-up to his critically acclaimed The Sun is Always Brighter, produced by industry veteran Shannon Edgar, James expands his musical palette to foreboding doom-laden hard rock. Progressing from folkish harmonies, to country twang, world beats and southern home rock while further exploring themes of spiritual searching and heartbreaking loss.

Four years of hard work!

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

Saw that there was nothing on this song and figured I'd give it a shot.
This is just how I play the chorus:

(F#m) (D) (A) (E)
Was it really worth it all, to give up laughter in the hall?

(F#m) (D) (A) (E) (F#m)
And did you cut your ribbon bows, for the man, who seems to know?

(D) (A) (E) (F#m)
Did he promise did he say, that you'd be home again some day?

(D) (A) (E)
Cuz while the sun it finally sets. We'll find you drowning.

And that's all I've got so far. If you've got any corrections please post them, as
I did this just by listening to the song and judging what sounds the closest.
