Some girls want to go where the sun shines
Em
Stir up a drink and a good time

Laying out on a towel in the sand

Texting her friends, working on a tan

Dancing to the beat through the big loud speaker

Summer at the mall just shopping for clothes
A
And all the boys they just want to go

[Chorus]
D Em
Where the girls are no matter how far
G
They are miles away or across the street
A
Wherever they're at's where we want to be
D Em
Think about 'em night and day won't ever go away
G A
I guess that's why we always try so hard
D Em G A
To get to where the girls are

[Verse 2]
D
Yeah they're the reason any boy is ever college-bound
Em
The fuel that keeps trucks heading into town
G
It's right around the age of thirteen
A
They've been jumping hurdles just to see

[Chorus]
D Em
Where the girls are no matter how far
G
They are miles away or across the street
A
Wherever they're at's where we want to be
D Em
Think about 'em night and day won't ever go away
