D G/B Cadd9 x 4

Verse 1
D G/B Cadd9
Here you are at last
D G/B Cadd9
To bring my cold lonely soul sweet release
D G/B Cadd9
From my weary past
D G/B Cadd9 G
Always searching, the one missing piece was you
D Dsus4 D
And I beg you, come away with me

And together we will find a place to call our own
G A7sus4 D
I can’t wait to see what I can do With a laptop like you

D G/B Cadd9 x 4

Verse 2
D G/B Cadd9
It’s not your CD slot
D G/B Cadd9
Or the Unix on which you are based
D G/B Cadd9
You make my lap hot
D G/B Cadd9 G
Cause underneath your aluminum case there’s love
D Dsus4 D
And I forgive your strange one-button mouse
G D D/C# Bm A E
I forgive the way your keyboard leaves marks on your screen
G A7sus4 D
I can overlook a fault or two For a laptop like you

Bridge Lead In
D G/B Cadd9 D Dsus4 D

Bridge
Am7 D Dsus4 D
We will always be together
