from the album "Somewhere Down the Road"

[VERSE 1]
Dsus2 D
Lord I'm really glad you're here
Dsus2
I hope you feel the same
D
when you see all my fear
G
and how I've failed
Gm7
I fall sometimes
Dsus2 D
It's hard to walk in shifting sand
Dsus2
I miss the rock and find
D
I've nowhere left to stand
G
and start to cry
Gm7
So please help me
D F#m Bm7
Raise my hands so you can pick me up
Gm
Hold me close
Bb C # [high 3rd fr]
Hold me tighter

[CHORUS]

D Bm7 Bm7 D7
I have found a place where I can hide
G F#7 Bm7 A
It's safe inside your arms of love
D F#m Bm7 D7
Like a child who's held throughout a storm
G
You keep me warm
F#7 Am Gmaj7 A
In your arms of love

[VERSE 2]

Dsus2 D
Storms will come and storms will go
Dsus2 D
I wonder just how many storms it takes until
G
I finally know
Gm7
You're here always
D F#m Bm7
Even when my skies are far from gray
Gm7
I can stay
Bb C # [High 3-5 fr]
Teach me to stay there

[CHORUS 2nd TIME]

D F#m Bm7 D7
In the place I've found where I can hide
G F#7 Bm7 A
It's safe inside your arms of love

You keep me warm

In your arms of love

You keep me warm in your arms of love
