Putting a capo on 1 makes this a little easier to play, in my opinion. To make it even easier
you can eliminate the C#m from the chorus altogether without missing much at all. Just keep playing
the E instead. The "E F# G#" after "Take this job and shove it" can be played as single notes
to make
things easier too.

Capo on 1

[Chorus]
N.C.
Take this job and shove it
E F# G# A E
I ain't working here no more
E C#m
My woman done left and took all the reasons
F# B
I was working for
E
You better not try to stand in my way
A E
As I'm walking out the door
A E
Take this job and shove it
B E
I ain't working here no more

[Verse]
E
I've been working in this factory
E
For nigh on fifteen years
A E
All this time I watched my woman
F# B
Drowning in a pool of tears
E
And I've seen a lot of good folks die
A E
That had a lot of bills to pay
A E
I'd give the shirt right off my back
B E A E
If I had the guts to say

[Chorus]
N.C.
Take this job and shove it
E F# G# A E
I ain't working here no more
E C#m
My woman done left and took all the reasons
F# B
I was working for
E
You better not try to stand in my way
A E
As I'm walking out the door
A E
Take this job and shove it
B E
I ain't working here no more

[Verse]
E
Well that foreman he's a regular dog
E
The line boss he's a fool
A E
Got a brand new flattop hair cut
F# B
Lord he thinks he's cool
E
One of these days I'm gonna blow my top
A E
And that sucker he's gonna pay
A E
Lord I can't wait to see their faces
B E A E
When I get the nerve to say

[Chorus]
N.C.
Take this job and shove it
E F# G# A E
I ain't working here no more
E C#m
My woman done left and took all the reasons
F# B
I was working for
E
You better not try to stand in my way
A E
As I'm walking out the door
A E
Take this job and shove it
B E
I ain't working here no more
A E
Take this job and shove it
B E
