!Play the C chord with your pinkie on the high G note on the high E-string!

[Intro]
C D (2x)
C D G Em Am D G C G

C G
I’m still thinking about you
C G
When your’re not under my hands
C G Em
It’s so quiet without you
Am D
I’m only most of a man

C D G
But somewhere under a spotlight
C D G
Or stuck up under a bed
C D G Em
There’s a bucket of dreams in a box
Am D
Or just a dream in your head

C D G
Is it lost in a pawn shop
C D G
Or somewhere broken apart
C D G Em
We’ll put them all back together
Am D G
With the strings of your heart.

C D G Em
Is it something your dad gave you
C D G
Is it older than that
C D G Em
Is it brand new right out of the box
Am D
Did it bust you flat

C D G Em
Did it belong to your first gig hero
C D G
Back when he was getting his start
C D G Em
There aint nothin’ like music when you
Am D G
play On the strings of your heart.

[Instrumental]
C D G Em
C D G
C D G Em Am D G C G

C G
I’m here let music come down the street
C G
I really have to depart
C D G Em
But I’ll be waitin’ to hear you play
Am D G
On the strings of your heart.

(Yeah play it man!)
C D G Em Am D G

C D G Em
Yeah I’ll be waitin’ to hear you play
Am D G C/G
On the strings of your heart.
