Righteous Love chords
Joan Osborne

Capo III*

A F#m
I was a troubled soul

I had a worried mind
E F#m
Drifting from place to place

I was the restless kind
A F#m
Right there in front to me

Bright as the light of day
E F#m
You saw a broken girl

You loved me anyway

F#m A
And if I sprouted wings

I would not be amazed
F#m
Cause faith is a mystery that
A F#m A
Rocks me for days and days and days and

A F#m
I could be in the street

I could be on a train
E F#m
Or struck in some doorway down

In the pouring rain
A F#m
Now there is not one place

That doesn't feel like home
E F#m
No matter where I go

I know I'm not alone

E7 E F#m
I've never been so sure of love . . .
E7 E F#m
I've never been so sure of love . . .

F#m A
And if I sprouted wings

I would not be amazed
F#m
Cause faith is a mystery that
A F#m A
Rocks me for days and days and days and

A F#m
Oh, you can ask me once

And I will tell you twice
E F#m
No one's convincing me

This isn't paradise
A F#m
And if I cause you pain

I'd only hurt myself
E F#m
Cause we have a righteous love

I feel for on one else

E7 E F#m
I've never been so sure of love . . .
E7 E F#m
I've never been so sure of love . . .

E7 E F#m
I've never been so sure of love . . .
E7 E F#m
I've never been so sure of love . . .

* Alternate:

Capo V

A = G
F#m = Em
