[Verse 1]

D
Baby it's been a long time, we've been sitting on drydock
D A
And it seems like all the pathways have been blocked
A7
Now the tides have turned and the rewards we have earned
Em A
Bringing us good feeling, set our hearts a-reeling, baby

[Chorus]

D Bm G A
Our ship is sailing, there ain't no stopping
D Bm G A
Our ship is sailing, yes we are moving
D Bm G A
Our ship is sailing, and we are moving
D Bm G A D
Our ship is sailing, there ain't no stopping 'til we say so, hey now

[Verse 2]

D
Now let's rock it steady, since a long time we've been ready
A
Let nothing detract our attention
A7
Let's take our time 'cause I'm feeling so fine
Em A
When you hold me tight, everything's all right, darlin'

[Chorus]

D Bm G A
Our ship is sailing, yes we are moving
D Bm G A
Our ship is sailing, there ain't no stopping
D Bm G A
Our ship is sailing, let's keep on moving
D Bm G A D
Our ship is sailing, there ain't no stopping 'til we say so, hey hey now

[Bridge]

Em
Now with love and affection, we're moving in the right direction
G D
Satisfaction is the key along the way
Em
So let's share the joy like a child with a new toy
Bm A
Baby hold me tight, everything's all right, darlin'

[Chorus]

D Bm G A
Our ship is sailing, and we are moving
D Bm G A
Our ship is sailing, there ain't no stopping now
D Bm G A
Our ship is sailing, yes we are on the go
D Bm G A
Our ship is sailing, there ain't no stopping

[Outro]

D Bm G A
Let's share the joy (Our ship is sailing)
D Bm G A
Like a child with a new toy (Our ship is sailing)
D Bm
Baby let's take our time (Our ship is sailing)
G A G A D
'Cause I'm feeling so fine, babe, yeah, yeah...
