HARD ROAD TO TRAVEL.BY JIMMY CLIFF.

INTRO: Am G C/Am G C

C F
I've got a hard road to travel and a rough, rough way to go
C F
Said, it's a hard road to travel and a rough, rough way to go
C G
But I can't turn back, my heart is fixed
C F C G C G
My mind's made up, I'll never stop, my faith will see, see me through
C F
Let me tell you, I'm all alone, this lonesome road, I roam
C F
I've got no love to call my very own
C F
Oh, the river gets deeper, the hills get steeper,
C G C G
And the pain gets deeper every day, yeah
C F
I've got a hard road to travel and a rough, rough way to go
C F
Said, it's a hard road to travel and a rough, rough way to go
C G
But I can't turn back, my heart is fixed
C F C G C G
My mind's made up, I'll never stop, my faith will see, see me through

Am G C Am G C
AH...AH,AH.......AH......AH,AH.......
C Am
One more thing, I dream of a home, far beyond the sea.
C Am
Where there is love and peace and joy for me
C Am
Oh, in my eyes, I see troubles and danger for me
F G C G
But destiny where it leads me, I must go, hey
. C Am
I've got a hard road to travel and a rough, rough way to go.
C Am
Said, it's a hard road to travel and a rough, rough way to go
C G C F
But I can't turn back, my heart is fixed
C G C F C G C G
My mind's made up, I'll never stop, my faith will see, see me through

Am G C Am G C
AH...AH,AH.......Lord help me somebody AH......AH,AH.......
