G Am C G

G
I remember the wind blowing in your face
Am
How our hearts would beat at the same pace
C
Holding hands and breathing slow
G
Smiling and pretending not to know

G
I remember the sun shining on my face
Am
When I saw that smile my heart would race
C
It was a dream from which I couldn’t wake
D
Until the day I felt my heart break

G D
We were young and so in love
Am C
I fell so deep there was no way back up
G D
When you took and broke my heart
C
I found myself right back at the start

G Am C x2

G
I remember riding around in your car
Am
You made me feel like a movie star
C
Glitter so shiny you kind of had to squint
D
I swear you held a sign that said dreams for rent

G
I fell hook line and sinker for those silly lines
Am
I’ve had to ask myself a hundred million times
C
Was the dream worth the price that I paid
D
The answer’s always the same I’m afraid

G D
We were young and so in love
Am C
When I fell it took some time to get back up
G D
But I was yours and baby you were mine
C
And I’d do it the same if I could turn back time

G Am C x3 G Am C D G Am C E

A
I remember riding around in your car
Bm
You made me feel like a movie star
D
Glitter so shiny you kind of had to squint
E
I swear you held a sign that said dreams for rent

A E
We were young and so in love
Bm D
When I fell it took some time to get back up
A E

D

A E
I was young and so in love
Bm D
You hurt me bad but baby I got back up
A E
So thanks for the love, thanks for the time
D A Bm D
I’ll always remember your pretty sign, yeah
A Bm D A Bm D
I'll always remember, yeah, ohhh
