[Intro]
G C G C

[Verse]
G C G
I ain't rich and I ain't famous
C G D
But there's folks out there that come to see the band
G C G
At times it seems Nashville won't claim us
C D G
So we just keep on trucking in a beat up van

Em C G D
They call me a throw back another old hat act

[Chorus]
C D G C
I guess I'm just old school I love making music you can dance to
G D
I may not sound like the latest trend
C D G C
Never been on a TV show, I got some buddies out in radio
G D
That spin my records every now and then
C D C D
So call me a dreaming fool, but wouldn't it be so cool
C D
If we made old school new again

[Instrumental]
G C G G

[Verse]
G C G
I know times they change, so I ain't saying
C G D
We need to go back to nudie suits, rhinestones and fringe
G C G
I just wanna be proud of what I'm playing
C D G
And sing a little lefty now and then

Em C G D
Just hope there's a juke box that still has an empty slot
Em C D
Lord knows I ought to fit in

[Chorus]
C D G C
I guess I'm just old school I love making music you can dance to
G D
I may not sound like the latest trend
C D G C
Never been on a TV show, I got some buddies out in radio
G D
That spin my records every now and then
C D C D
So call me a dreaming fool, but wouldn't it be so cool
C D G
If we made old school new again

C D C D
I know a cowboy who lost a friend, we all wrote a song for him
C D
And we made old school new again

[Outro]
G G G C G
