Biography:

Jeremy Messersmith is an American indie pop musician, based in Minneapolis.

Messersmith is not only a musician is half-truth, but also a storyteller. This is a real fun song, I love it (:
I use a Capo, I think it sounds better, but you don't need to (:

Am C
I was born in a mortuary
G
Full of worry
F Am
Ice water in my veins
C
Gave my heart in the school library
G D
Never knew her name

Am C
Lost my tongue in the sanctuary
G
“Heaven spare me!”
F Am
Hands raised above my head
C
Sent my brain to the seminary
G D
Never seen again...

Am-Am7
Swing low
E-Em7
Grey bones
G D
I don't know
F E
If I'll ever be whole again

Am C
Left my spine in the wedding chapel
G
Full of people
F Am
Feet turning into lead
C
Lost a leg at the iron foundry
G D
Where they found me dead

Am C
Drained my blood at the mortuary
G
No more worry
F Am
Ice water in my veins
C
Took my bones to the cemetery
G D
Where they still remain

Am-Am7
So swing low
E-Em7
Grey bones
G D
I don't know
F E
If I'll ever be whole again
