[Intro] G C Em7 C X2

G C Em7
The reason why, I stand
C G
The answer lies in you
C Em7
You hung to make me strong
C G
Though my praise was few
C Em7
When I fall I bring your name down
C G
But I have found in you
C Em7
A heart that bleeds forgiveness
C Am7 B/D C
Replacing all those thoughts of painful memories
Am7 B/D C
but i know that your response will always be

G D
I'll take you back, always
Am7
Even when your fight is over now
C
Even when your fight is over now
G D
I'll take you back, always
Am7
Even when the pain is coming through
C
Even when the pain is coming through
G
I'll take you back

You satisfy this cry, of what I'm looking for
And I'll take all I can, and lay it down before
The throne of endless grace now that radiates what's true
I'm in the only place that erases all these faults
That have overtaken me
But I know that your response will always be

I'll take you back, always
Even when your fight is over now
Even when your fight is over now
I'll take you back, always
Even when the pain is coming through
Even when the pain is coming through
I'll take you back (stay in C)

(bridge)
Am7 B/D
I can only speak with a grateful heart
Em7 D C
As I'm pierced by this gift of your love
Am7 B/D
I will always bring an offering
C D
I can never thank you enough
(last chorus)

You'll take me back, always
Even when my fight is over now
Even when my fight is over now
You'll take me back, always
Even when my pain is coming through
Even when my pain is coming through
You'll take me back
