It's not killing me yet, it'll kill me somehow.
Seeing you with that grin, seeing you in this town.
It's a shake, a shake small. The colors of you.
Paint me alive, assemble me too.
It's a shame 'cause I see you all the time. I see them look at me,
but you act like you don't mind.
And when I'm looking, I'm looking straight at you.
You don't pay attention, no matter what I do.

I've got reasons in the back of my head.
Wish I could tell you as we lay in my bed.
I picture fire when I think of your skin.
I'll be your artist if you let me in.
Oh, lighting isn't light if there's no dark outside.
So what's the point of us if all I do is hide?
I'm a fish & you're the sea, you're the sea.

Notice me, push the rain, set me free.
Notice me, I'm your number, I'm your key, notice me.

I'm a voice you can hear if I talk really loud.
But I feel that's too clear, frankly I'm just too proud.
I'm the main event, to everyone's eyes.
Except for yours, I've tried and I've tried.

I've got reasons in the back of my skull
I think too many and it's taking a toll.
This heart is ready will you name your price?
Guess you can't bet on water when it's not ice.

Notice me, push the rain, set me free.
Notice me, I'm your number, I'm your key.
Notice me, or leave my mind, darling please
Notice me, cause I'm a prisoner, I can't breathe, notice me.
