Last night the moon watched the sea,

As he looked so sad,
G Bm7
His reflection told me the story,

C Em
Why he didn't speak a sound,
C Em
And all to do is weep, come down.

Em G Bm7
I tried to ask him what he needs,
Em
Moon light paints my face,
G Bm7
And when he turned and looked to me,

C* Em (strum this chorus)
Still we never speak a sound,
C* Em
And all to do is weep, come down.

Em G Bm7
And when the up comes to an end,
Em
And all is last,
G Bm7
The moon will lose his only friend,

C* Em (strum this chorus)
Still we never speak a sound,
C* Em
And all to do is weep, come down.

C* Em (strum this too)
No more words,
C* Em
Lost in space,
C* Em
It's on his face,
C*
Man on the moon.
