RIVERBOAT SONG- J.J. Cale

E
I hear a whistle, I hear a moan
A E
Must be my baby coming home
C B E
She's been down in Tupelo singin' that riverboat song

She is a dancer, a river queen
She teach them gamblers most anything
She been down in Tupelo singin' that riverboat song

CHORUS:
A E
Many nights I spend alone
A E
Many days there ain't nobody home
A E
Many times I wish she was here
C B
Hear that riverboat whistle blow I know she's gettin near

Hey river captain bring my baby home
I guess I'm lonesome since she been gone
She been down in Tupelo workin' that riverboat song

CHORUS
LAST VERSE
