[Intro]
G Bm Em C (x2)

[Verse]
G Bm Em C G
Grey skies forming up ahead
Bm Em C G
And you light up like a cigarette
Bm Em C
Record's playin' on the set
G Bm Em C
And we don't have a long time left

[Chorus]
G Bm C
You call out, you call out every time
C/B C/A G
I pass through the hall
Bm C C/B
That's where your pictures are
C/A G Bm C
You call out, you call out every time
C/B C/A G
I sing out a note
Bm C C/B
There go the words I spoke
C/A G Bm C C/B C/A
Heeeeyyyy

[Verse]
G Bm Em C G
I'm packing up as your turning in
Bm Em C G
One last look before your eyes grow dim
Bm Em C
Lay your silhouette on the bed
G Bm
And ask me where my mind has been
Em C
Where my mind has been

[Chorus]
G Bm C
You call out, you call out every time
C/B C/A G
I pass through the hall
Bm C C/B
That's where your pictures are
C/A G Bm C
You call out, you call out every time
C/B C/A G
I sing out a note
Bm C C/B C/A Am
There go the words I spoke

[Bridge]
Am C
And I never thought I'd have
G
A reason to go back
Em Am
But as it turns out
Am C
What we made is still there
G
Reflecting off the glass
Em Am
And stitching up the tears
G
Heeeyyyyy
Bm Em C C/B C/A
Ooooooooo

[Outro]
G Bm Em C G
You've got one eye on the house
Bm Em C G
The crooked roof to be straightened out
Bm Em C
You keep the other on the sky
G Bm
The simple life just takes some time
Em C C/B C/A G
Just takes some time
