J Roddy follows a simple blues pattern on this one. I'm giving you a very basic version
of it. Throw in hammer-ons, walk downs and all that good stuff to make it sound a
little nicer, but the whole song is based on this progression.

G
I bet you sick lick forcep and you're tiny in red.
Elevate your tricep you're a martyr in bed.
C
Sitting on a gold mine, shooting up the old time.
G
Cleaning up the refuse of your plaid shirt and coke lines.
D
Now I've been pulling thread doing all kinds of evil.
C
I know you hate me baby but don't break the needle lady.
G

G
Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee haw haw,
You made laugh baby, you made me crawl.
C
Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee haw haw,
G
You made laugh baby, you made me crawl.
D
I've been pulling thread doing all kinds of evil.
C
I know you hate me baby but don't break the needle lady.
G

G
Now seven time two equals fourteen,
This time is a dime. Do you know what I mean?
C G
And I been building friends out of friends that I used to have.
D
I've been pulling thread, doing all kinds of evil.
C
know you hate me baby but don't break the needle lady.
G

G
Marshall saw a rolling ball, it ran right over him.
It's a shame to have the dead naming off all their friends.
C
My right hand my left hand they're both no good.
G
It's black lung like the young, who were dying while they could.
D
I've been pulling thread doing all kinds of evil.
C
I know you hate me baby, but don't break the needle lady.
G

G

G
Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee haw haw,
You made laugh baby, you made me crawl.
C
The devil had a blister so I knew he had kissed her.
G
And I just wanted to know if the girl had a sister.
D
I been pulling thread, doing all kinds of evil
C
I know you hate me baby but don't break the needle lady.
