Ian Kelly

Wonderful Humans

by Ian Kelly
Ian Kelly

Biography:

Ian grew up in Montreal in NDG, a neighborhood where French and English intertwine. He started his relationship with music on his brother’s drums in the family basement. That’s where it all began. Ian initially played drums but he quickly felt like learning other instruments, mainly the guitar, in order to develop his own musical universe. "When no money can be found to buy new records, you might as well make your own music. It’s like cooking, if you don’t like green peppers, don’t put any in what you’re making."

Here's another beautiful song from Ian Kelly. The verses might seems a little tricky at first because
you have to switch very quickly from the C to Em but if you listen to the original song, you'll quickly
get the hang of it. Just don't enjoy playing it, support this amazing artist and his band by buying
their albums. :))

Capo on 3rd

Intro:

Am x8

Am C Em Am
Here comes the last of the wonderful humans
Am C Em Am
They're pushed to the edge, so don't be ashamed to be one of them
F Am
Now where is our water and our feast
F C Am
Where is the color of our peace?
Am C Em Am
The sun has gone mad and the ice melted in silence
Am C Em Am
If we'd done what we should we'd still have some balance

Chorus:
F C Em Am
We have destroyed what was beautiful
F C Em
We have destroyed what was pretty
F C Em Am
We have reheated the sane cold
Am C Em
Now there is no, there is no remedy
Em Am
There is no remedy

Am C Em Am
I'm scratching the surface in a song but the cut is deep
Am C Em Am
I can't start with where we have gone wrong, and let's not seek
F Em
Don't waste my time with who's to blame 'cause we are all the same
F Em Am
Let's try to leave something that came, long before the acid rain

Chorus:
F C Em Am
We have destroyed what was beautiful
F C Em
We have destroyed what was pretty
F C Em Am
We're still burning the same old coal
Am C Em
Now there is no, there is no remedy
Em Am
There is no remedy

Bridge
Am C Em Am (x2)

Am C Em Am
I'm scared to bring someone into this world I'm afraid this is the end
Am C Em Am
That's it I'm done with your profits, I'm sick of all this shit
F Em Am F
Why should we change our lazy habits, the end is just around the corner, we leave nothing, no bright future
F Em Am
If I'm not screwing you, what else could I do...
