Hurray For The Riff Raff

Biography:

Hurray for the Riff Raff is an Americana band from New Orleans, Louisiana. It was formed by Alynda Segarra, a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter from the Bronx, New York, after she had moved to New Orleans in 2007.

After leaving home at an early age to travel the country, Segarra eventually settled in New Orleans where she began to perform and record with a revolving cast of musicians. She released two records (2008's It Don't Mean I Don't Love You and 2010's Young Blood Blues) mostly consisting of delicate folk and country songs.

I don't know exactly what you would call the D chord but I play it
as a C chord rooted on the fifth fret on the A string, like this -

e|-0-|
B|-3-|
G|-0-|
D|-4-|
A|-5-|
E|-x-| (if you prefer a cleaner sound you can mute the open G and high e strings)
