Biography:
Humberto Vargas es un cantautor de origen costarricense. Muchos lo ubican en la trova, sin embargo el considera que lo suyo es la música iberoamericana y original.
Siempre acompañado por su guitarra interpreta géneros como trova, bolero y, fiel a sus raíces, el tambito (ritmo folclórico costarricense) entre otros.
Luego de una amplia formación musical inicia como solista en el año 1996, sin embargo muchos lo conocieron cuando ganó el Festival Viña del Mar 2006 con su tema Dilo de una vez.
