Horse Feathers

Altamont

by Horse Feathers
Horse Feathers

Biography:

Horse Feathers is an American indie folk band from Portland, Oregon.

After fronting several rock bands in his native Idaho, singer/songwriter Justin Ringle moved to Portland, OR in 2004 and began focusing on acoustic music, playing open mics regularly under the moniker Horse Feathers. In 2005, multi-instrumentalist Peter Broderick heard a couple of Justin's demos and offered to help flesh them out. Song: Altamont
Artist: Horse Feathers
Album: Appreciation
Tuning: Standard (Capo 2, but only on ADGBe)
Audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6XHTMNzZ48
Live Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0si9Xub_Qs

[Notes]
- Atypical capo use to match artist. See Live Video.
- As the capo is not in use on the E string, the fret numbers for
the E string are relative to the nut. Others relative to capo.
- If you prefer full capo, use Drop D tuning.
- The tab in the "Instrumental" section is just some filler,
rather than actually from the song.
- Some of the lyrics are questionable, but I can't find any
official publication for them. There isn't even a CD insert.
