Biography:
Formada en 1976 por los hermanos Wahlquis y Michael Backler en Estocolmo, Heavy Load es considerada la primera banda de heavy metal prodecente de Suecia. Conocidos por sus letras con temática vikinga, editaron 4 discos entre 1976 y 1985 de la mano de Ragne Wahiquist (Voz, Guitarra y Teclado) y Styrbjörn Wahiquist (Bateria) ademas de el genial Michael Backlund (Bajo). Su tercer trabajo de larga duración, ´´Stronger than evil´´ , es considerado el mejor disco de esta banda y toda una obra maestra del género.
