Strangest Dreams
Hall Ketchum, Rivers Rutherford

[Verse 1]
D Bm
Yesterday the world stood still, sun was setting on the hill
A G
The grass blue the sky was green; we made love in Portuguese
D Bm
Suddenly I realize, somehow we had learned to fly
A G
We took off like two young swans, headed for the great beyond

[Chorus 1]
Bm F#m G
Sometimes I have the strangest dreams
G A
Heaven finds me in my sleep
Bm F#M G
Some sweet angel carries me away
Bm F#m G
I go drifting quietly to a world of possibilities
Bm F#m G
To a land that love forgotten time again
G A Bm G A D
Don’t know what comes over me, sometimes I have the strangest dreams.

[Verse 2]
D Bm
He said such makes singing songs, a choir of roses sings along
A G
Such an ancient melody, from nineteen fifty nine B C

[Chorus 1]
Bm F#m G
Sometimes I have the strangest dreams
G A
Heaven finds me in my sleep
Bm F#M G
Some sweet angel carries me away
Bm F#m G
I go drifting quietly to a world of possibilities
Bm F#m G
To a land that love forgotten time again
G A Bm G A D
Don’t know what comes over me, sometimes I have the strangest dreams.

[Verse 3]
D Bm
I wake up before the dawn, surprised to see that you are gone
A G
Angel whispered in my ear; remember she’s been gone for years

[Chorus 1]
Bm F#m G
Sometimes I have the strangest dreams
G A
Heaven finds me in my sleep
Bm F#M G
Some sweet angel carries me away
Bm F#m G
I go drifting quietly to a world of possibilities
Bm F#m G
To a land that love forgotten time again
G A Bm G A D
Don’t know what comes over me, sometimes I have the strangest dreams.

[Add Tag Line]
G A Bm G A D
Don’t know what comes over me, sometimes I have the strangest dreams.
