Biography:
Girls era una banda de San Francisco creada por Christopher Owens y Chet "JR" White en 2007. El cantante de la banda, Christopher Owens, es un ex miembro de los Children of God. Fueron nombrados "mejor artista del año" en octubre de 2009 en Spin Magazine. The New York Times comparó el sonido de la banda con Elvis Costello, Buddy Holly, y The Beach Boys.
Pitchfork nombró su canción Hellhole Ratrace una de las "500 mejores canciones de la Década", así como su disco de debut Album décimo mejor disco del año 2009.
