Biography:

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals is an American rock band formed in 2004 in Waitsfield, Vermont. Their 2010 self-titled Grace Potter and The Nocturnals was followed by The Lion The Beast The Beat in 2012.

Tabbed by Robin Young

Intro: Am – G (2x)

Am G
You may see me when I'm on the run
Am G
On the run, when I’m on the run
Am G
You may see me when I'm all undone
Am G
All undone, when I’m all undone

Am – G

Am G
You may see me smokin’ a cigarette
Am G
Cigarette, a cigarette
Am G
You may see me and try to forget
Am G
Oh, forget, but you won't forget

C G
You got the eyes to look for what you saw
C G
And when you don't win or lose, I guess you draw
Am G
Well, I had to leave, I guess you had to stay
D
But don't come lookin’, babe
C
'Cause if you look too hard
Am
I might just,
G
You know, I might just look away

Am G
You may see me, but you never know
Am G
You never know, no, you never know
Am G
You may see me in Ohio
Am G
Ohio, in Ohio

C G
‘Cause you got the eyes to look for what you saw
C G
And when you don't win or lose, I guess you draw
Am G
I had to leave, I guess you had to stay
D
But don't come lookin’, babe
C
'Cause if you look too hard
Am
I might just look away
G
Just look away

Em
Don't come lookin’, babe
C Am
Don't come lookin’, babe
Em
‘Cause if you look too hard
C Am
You'll find me in the wrong place
