by Gord Bamford
Gord Bamford

Biography:

"Gord is one of the hardest working artists I have ever met. He is finally getting his due!" - Byron Hill, Nashville.

The year 2008 is shaping up to be a big one for Lacombe, Alberta's Gord Bamford. Gord continues his winning ways with the July release of his third single from the acclaimed "Honkytonks And Heartaches" album. "Postcard from Pasadena" was written by Gord and song writing partner Byron Hill. The award winning Stephano Barberis produced the video for the song and filmed it in the desert atmosphere of Osoyoos B.C.

[Intro]
E A E A

[Verse]
E
I`ve tried to figure out
A
What`s got me here like this
E
Feeling kind of crazy
A
Baby every time we kiss
E
But it`s taking off so fast
A
I don`t know what to do
E
That low cut thing your wearing

Baby just might be a clue

[Chorus]
A
I can blame it on the wine
Asus4
The smell of your perfume
E
The way there heads are turning

When you walk in the room
A
But something`s going on
Asus4
More then animal attraction
E
At play

It ain`t your eyes your lips your nose your hips
D A
That got me in this mess
E
Blame it on that red dress

[Instrumental]
A E A

[Verse]
E
Well I ain`t the social genius
A
But it`s coming to me now

A
What makes the world go round
E
Don`t need to do a study of
A
All the side effects
E
The shorter that the dresses go

The longer are the legs

[Chorus]
A
I can blame it on the wine
Asus4
The smell of your perfume
E
The way there heads are turning

When you walk in the room
A
But something`s going on
Asus4
More then animal attraction

At play

It ain`t your eyes your lips your nose your hips
D A
That got me in this mess
E
Blame it on that red dress
