Gold Celeste

Dreamers

by Gold Celeste
Gold Celeste

Biography:

Meet Gold Celeste, a brand new Norwegian psych-pop band inspired by crispy lo-fi sounds from the 60s, the eccentrics and adventurers of the 70s, the DIY indie-gazers, and dissident hip-hoppers of the 80s and 90s, blending an animated and vibrant sonic palate of refreshing guitars, nimble drums, frisky bass guitars, bursting organs, and earnest, lyrical vocals.

The band met in Trondheim while studying music, and recorded their debut album in the studio ran by singer and bass player, Simen.

Four years of hard work!

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

I found this song to be hard to play along with cause it sounds recorded slightly out out of tune, so I
transpose it to some friendlier chords when I play it.

Here's how I play C/C#maj7

e|--------|
B|---9----|
G|---10---|
D|---10---|
A|--------|
E|---8----|

[Intro]

B D#m E C# C/C#maj7

B
Life is a maze spending your days.
D#m
Truth is a haze punching your face.
E
And time is a friend who outgrows you in the end,
C# C/C#maj7
but it's all right

B
Love is a sign we’re all benign.
D#m
Hate someone say’s why it’s too late.
E
I’m sure we’re at a stage, the coming of a golden age
C# D#
you’re free to join us

G# A#m D# D#6
the club of all
G# A#m D# D#6
the fortunate dreamers
G# A#m D# D#6
in tinfoil hats

[Interlude]

E B A# E C#

B
Oh well, that was it and here you sit
D#m
Doesn't it hurt a little bit?
E
To know there was a time you could have done something sublime
C#
but i'm sorry

C# A
Once we get too old
Bbm A6
toothless and all bald
G# D#m
there’s no turning back
G# F# Fm D#m
there’s no turning back

C# A
Once we get too old
Bbm A6
toothless and all bald
G# D#m
there’s no turning back
G# D#m
there’s no turning back
G# D#m
there’s no turning back
G# D#m
there’s no turning back
