Intro: F#m D A E F#m D A E

[Verse 1]

F#m D A E
Out on the blue horizon, The clouds were rollin' in
F#m D A E
The ground below was shaking, With the rising wind
Bm F#m
I looked over my shoulder, Said goodbye to my home
Bm D Esus4 E
After today there'd be no turning back, We were on our own

[Verse 2]

F#m D A E
Everyone had taken sides, The battle lines were drawn
F#m D A E
We stared into the face of war, And waited for the dawn
Bm F#m
Everything that we worked for, They took from our hands
Bm D Esus4 E
We were left with no choice, But to stand up and fight for this land, This land

[Chorus]

D E A F#m
But don't worry darlin', This will all be over soon
D E F#m
Just remember you will always be my girl, You're my girl
D E A F#m
And somehow you will find the strength, To stand up on your own
D E F#m
And live in this brave new world

[Verse 3]

F#m D A E
How it all came down to this, No one can really say
F#m D A E
Every time we cried out for help, They looked the other way
Bm F#m
Now there's no turning back, We have got to be strong
Bm D Esus4 E
We will travel the hard road to freedom, No matter how long, How long

[Chorus]

D E A F#m
But don't worry darlin', This will all be over soon
D E F#m
Just remember you will always be my girl, You're my girl
D E A F#m
These are the times we're born into, This is why we're here
D E F#m
To live in this brave new world

Ending: F#m D A E F#m D A E x2 (If you want, you can scream or sing a few "brave new world" phrases in there)
