The Lady Lies

by Genesis
Genesis

Biography:

At least two artists have used the name "Genesis":
1. A British progessive rock band
2. A 60s psychedelic band from Los Angeles, California
For the Colombian band, please see Génesis.

1. Genesis formed in 1967 in Godalming, Surrey (United Kingdom) and was one of the most popular progressive rock bands in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. During the 1970s, Peter Gabriel was the lead singer until his departure, when drummer Phil Collins stepped up to the mic and replaced him.

Four years of hard work!

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

Alot of these base chords will work as some of these variations are a case of Tony
integrating the melody into his chording(as in Follow you, Follow Me)

On the topic of the first part: The bass is a Bb over "moonlight" so it could
work as such or be played as a Cm6/Bb(if you are playing solo) and then the
Bbmaj7(or Dm/Bb if you prefer for guitarists whom can wrap their thumb all the way
around the neck to hit that second string) over "sound", "rescues", "enter" and
"kingdom"

"Thinks he" is Cmadd9 Cm with "is" Cm and "a" Cm6. "Warrior" is Fsus4(wari) , F
(or) with "so" being an Fadd9 and "he" being an F5...again a case of the melody
being in the chording. Didn't think about picking those nits, but I will make
those changes to please the music nerds.

Well played, Mr. Banks...well played.

The chorus is over an Ab Bass pedal so Ebm/Ab will voice over the bass as an
Abm9no3 and the Bbm/Ab as Db6no5/Ab. (Guitarists playing solo may want to play the
Abm9 and Db here) The Ebm/Ab, Bbm/Ab in the piano sounds correct to me, so I am
going to stick with that. If there is a difference, it is so minor as to be
unnoticeable to the untrained ear, which is what I very well may be.
