EM7: X2XX33

Intro: G D Am Em D

G
The surface is cracking
D
The lines on my face
Am
Shows the courage that I'm lacking here
Em D
And the beauty that awaits.

G
Home is just a word
D
Without a time or place
Am
I'm falling in and out of love
Em D
With the loneliness I've traced.

Cadd9 Em7 D
And I can't wait to start again
Cadd9 Em7 D
No I can't wait to start again
Cadd9 Em7 D
When the darkness and unknown become your friend
Cadd9 Em7 D
No I can't wait to start again.

G
The voice of a thousand whispers
D
With answers I can't find
Am
I make promises to the wounded love
Em D
In the corner of your mind

G
When the night before has left you
D
And the smoke has filled your lungs
Am
When you don't know what you've come here for
Em D
Or the person you've become

Cadd9 Em7 D
And I can't wait to start again
C Em7 D
No I can't wait to start again
Cadd9 Em7 D
When the darkness and unknown become your friend
Cadd9 Em7 D
No I can't wait to start again.

(For the quick switch in this part, you can go from EM, play the 2nd fret on the E string to the G)
Em G Cadd9
Oh Oh and the agonies turning into thought
Em G Cadd9
Oh and nothing is what I thought it was
Em G Cadd9
Oh and the agonies turning into thought
Em G Cadd9
Oh and nothing is what I thought it was

Cadd9 Em7 D
And I can't wait to start again
Cadd9 Em7 D
No I can't wait to start again
Cadd9 Em7 D
When the darkness and unknown become your friend
Cadd9 Em7 D
No I can't wait to start again.
