G7 E7 G7 E7
Blues on the ceiling over my head
A7 C7 E7
Running down the walls across the floor and over my bed
A7 C7 E7
Blue lights across the street blinkin' off and on
A7 C7 E7
It's so lonely now she's gone
A7 C7 E7
I'll never get out of these blues alive
A7 C7 E7
I'll never get out of this crazy blues alive

G7 E7 G7 E7
Love had been a dirty five letter word to me
A7 C7 E7
I was into the blues over my head blue was all that I could see
A7 C7 E7
Up to my neck in misery
A7 C7 E7
I'll never get out of these blues alive
A7 C7 E7
I'll never get out of this crazy blues alive
G7 E7 G7 E7
Blues keep on fooling with my weary head
A7 C7 E7
Cocaine couldn't numb the pain I'd be better off dead
A7 C7 E7
Blue lights gone out at last I sleep
A7 C7 E7
The bitter the blues the better they keep
A7 C7 E7
I'll never get out of these blues alive
A7 C7 E7
I'll never get out of this crazy blues alive
