[Verse 1]
C G C F
Darling lately something's been different
C G
When we go out at night
C G C F
There's a fire in your eyes but something is missing
C G C
It just doesn't burn as bright

[Chorus]
F F
You take my hand more than you used to
C G C C7
But I'm not sure that it's love
F F
And you seem to stumble more often these days
C G C C7
Darling I keep holding you up
G F
Even my friends say you're out of touch
C G C
Darling are you drinking too much

[Verse 2]
C G C F
Darling lately It seems you've been buying
C G
Your cocktails two at a time
C G C F
And when it's last call and your glass is empty
C G C
You've been finishing mine

[Chorus]
F F
You take my hand more than you used to
C G C C7
But I'm not sure that it's love
F F
And you seem to stumble more often these days
C G C C7
Darling I keep holding you up
G F
Even your friends say you're out of touch
C G C
Darling are you drinking too much

[Bridge]
F F
You used to be the life of the party
C G C C7
And not just the talk of the town
F F
Well you used to want to go out every night
C G C C7
Now you're afraid of the crowd

[Outro]
G F
Even our friends say that you're out of touch
C G C
Darling are you drinking too much
C G C
Darling are you drinking too much
