Wake Up In The Morning

by Ford Theatre
Ford Theatre

Biography:

Trilogy For The Masses opens with the Theme For The Masses, the main theme that connects the whole of the album together. Played in a form of lament, the track is rich in both strings and organ very similar to a style that would be utilised by many of the proto-progressive rock bands such as Procol Harum and The Moody Blues. The subsequent track, 101 Harrison Street is a clear indication of the times. Featuring a lengthy and mesmerising guitar solo accompanied by a hypnotic continuous rhythm

WAKE UP IN THE MORNING by Harry Palmer
From: Ford Theatre Time Changes -A New Musical ABC Records, 1969

[You can hear this song on YouTube while watching a video the band made in 1969
(?), running amok through beautiful
downtown Milford, Massachusetts. Its really great!

Ford Theatre did not receive the credit or love they deserved. Tremendous talents
across the board.
I really enjoyed the Time Changes album, back in the day.
There are a few other songs from this album on YouTube; you should check them
out. A great band and a great record.]
