VERSE 1
D/F# D/G D/A
I'll be the looker out the window
D/C# G G/B D/A

And you'll be the reason for all my thoughts
D/C# G G/B D/A
Drifting back across the sea

D/F# D/G D/A
I'll be the empty in the morning

Brave mornings shared so briefly

Constantly distracting me

Going home believing another

Going home to turn to the southern stars
Am C
At night I'll be lying on my back
Em D/A
And thinking of your northern constellations

It was you that was embracing much too late

At night I'll be lying on my back
Em D/A
And thinking of your northern constellations

Cause there's no forgetting after what you gave
