[Intro]
B E B E

[Verse]
B
Every since I was a child my manner described as mild
E
It was always too late to try and estimate
B G#m
The force of the hurricane blowing in my head
B
Till the water was rising and the winds so strong
E
It blew me some place I didn't belong,
B G#m
One day I woke up wishing I was dead,
F# G#m F#
Oh yeah, Oh yeah, Oh yeah

[Interlude]
B E B G#m
Uh uh uh uh

[Verse]
B
Next chapter of the story about going for the glory
E
About forgetting about the truth and once the truth gets loose
B G#m
Like putting toothpaste back in the tube
B
Jack cover your tracks Here's Johnny! Bloody Axe!
E
And you can't slow down tears of a clown
B G#m
'Til you stop let it catch up to you
F# G#m F#
Oh yeah, Oh yeah, Oh yeah

[Chorus]
B E B G#m
So let it rain, oh yeah, let it rain, oh yeah
B E B G#m
Ah let it rain, oh yeah, let it rain, oh yeah

[Interlude]
B E B G#m
Uh uh uh uh

[Verse]
B
When I started this song I was already gone
E
Past Jack Kennedy and the force of destiny
B G#m
Gonna take you down to Dallas someday
B
From the line of duty till the line of fire
E
His face so stoic, you gotta admire
B G#m
But wait … what am I trying to say?
F# G#m F#
Oh yeah, Oh yeah, Oh yeah

[Chorus]
B E B G#m
So let it rain, oh yeah, let it rain, oh yeah
B E B G#m
Ah let it rain, oh yeah, let it rain, oh yeah

[Bridge]
F# G#m F# G#m
As it was in the beginning, with nothing new under the sun
A E G#m F#
From the deepest darkest ocean, the circus has begun

[Interlude]
B E B G#m
Uh uh uh uh

[Verse]
B
But when I see my child moving in your womb
E
Is more inspìring than any Pharaoh's tomb
B G#m
It lifts me up right out of my head
B
I believe in love, I believe in birth
E
I believe in giving something back to the earth
B G#m
And I believe in God, by the way
F# G#m F#
Oh yeah, Oh yeah, Oh yeah

[Chorus]
B E B G#m
So let it rain, oh yeah, let it rain, oh yeah
B E B G#m
Ah let it rain, oh yeah, let it rain, oh yeah

[Outro]
B E B G#m
Uh uh uh uh
